Venom Volleyball Club is excited to announce that Nader Shavandi has accepted the position of Technical Director and High Performance Coach at Venom Volleyball Club. In accepting the position, Nader said, “I am excited to be a part of this exciting new club. There is a lot of energy around the Venom club and I look forward to working with our high performance coaches to ensure we have the tools to develop competitive athletes.”
Nader brings to Venom a wealth of experience and learning to his role at Venom Volleyball Club. Nader has a PhD in Exercise Physiology, M.SC in Physical Education and Sport Science and a B. SC in Physical Education and Sport Science from Azad University, Tehran, Iran.
An accomplished author on volleyball, Nader has written and published 3 titles to assist volleyball coaches with setting up programs. “Having a well thought out plan helps the athletes with attaining their goals.”

Nader is a fully certified NCCP Level 2 Coach and Level 3 Trained. He is also a certified Level 1 and 2 International Volleyball Coach from FIVB. He obtained a Certificate of Sport Medicine – IOC and a Certificate of Olympic Solidarity course from the IOC.
In addition, Nader has worked with the OVA as the High Performance Indoor Development Coach 2014-2015.
